Organize a Public Dialogue in Manyara Region.

In collaboration with the Foundation for civil Society, KCS Forum was requested by FCS to be partner Organization in Manyara Region to assist in Organize the public dialogue which was aiming at providing a platform for CSO’s and the public to interact with their local leaders and chat a way forward in the implementation of development policies and projects as stipulated in the current National Development Strategy (MKUKUTA). The dialogue was conducted on 09/11/2006, and attended by all development actors in the Region, where by the Regional Commissioner was the chairman of the whole process. The dialogue was very successful as most of the objectives, if not all were attained.

Formation of the Manyara Region CSO’s Network.

KCS Forum has pioneered and led the process towards formation of the Manyara Region CSO’s Network. The formation meeting was held on 12/11/2006 in Babati town where by it was attended by 48 CSO’s. The Network was formed and named as Manyara Region Civil Society Organizations Network (MACS-NET) with the strong leadership (Executive Committee) drawing representatives from all the Districts.
